Industry–Education Integration: Building a Hub of Innovation—Shandong University of Technology Visits Yinuowei to Discuss In-Depth Industry–University–Research Collaboration

On June 16, Xu Jun, Chairman of the Group, warmly received Li Tao, Director of the Cooperation and Development Office, Sun Tao, Director, Professor Fu Zhongjun of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and Dean Yang Naitao, along with their delegation. The group conducted on-site visits and practical discussions to advance university–enterprise collaboration to a deeper level and higher quality. The college leadership toured the Yinuowei Science and Technology Museum, the production workshop, the central control room, and the RTO environmental treatment facility. During the visit and exchange, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on lean management, technological innovation, technology expansion, and full‑chain collaboration. Following the field research, a special symposium was held on key challenges facing the polyurethane industry, future opportunities, and the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, during which views were thoroughly shared.

Building on a foundation of long-term cooperation, the two sides reached multiple agreements and identified three key areas of collaboration:

First, we will jointly build a refined talent-development system. We will implement a categorized, tiered, and targeted recruitment model, upgrade the school–enterprise collaborative talent-training mechanism, continue to administer the Yinuowei Special Scholarship, and establish a stable, precision‑driven talent‑placement channel, thereby consistently supplying enterprises with high‑quality, industry‑aligned professionals.

Second, we will coordinate efforts to conduct industry‑oriented research and tackle key technological challenges. Grounded in genuine market needs and the practical value of industrial applications, we will refine project‑approval criteria, establish a joint university–enterprise review mechanism, enhance the quantitative evaluation system for research outcomes, and streamline the pathway for translating laboratory‑based technologies into commercial applications.

Third, we will establish a long-term, high‑level platform for scientific research collaboration. Leveraging the expertise of academicians and leading experts, we will deepen R&D in core polyurethane technologies, conduct regular two‑way technology exchanges, co‑build specialized application laboratories and industry‑oriented research platforms, and forge a sustained, stable mechanism for collaborative innovation.

Schools and enterprises share a common origin, and scientific innovation thrives in symbiosis. Over the years, Yinuowei has maintained a close and robust strategic partnership with Shandong University of Technology, consistently investing in joint talent development, cutting-edge research, and the commercialization of scientific成果. Together, they have established a stable, mutually beneficial, and deeply integrated industry–university–research collaboration framework, laying a solid foundation for cooperation and yielding substantial, tangible results.

This visit and symposium have further strengthened the collaborative bridge for university–enterprise development. Both parties will refine and finalize the implementation details of their cooperation, clarify key milestones, and regularly synchronize progress on talent cultivation and research projects. Through precise and pragmatic measures, they will ensure the effective and thorough integration of industry, academia, and research, driving deep and tangible advancements in industrial innovation and upgrading.
