A polyurethane water heater typically consists of an inner tank and a polyurethane insulation layer. The tank serves as the core component for storing hot water, commonly made from materials like stainless steel or enamel. Stainless steel tanks offer excellent corrosion resistance and structural strength, while enamel tanks excel in resisting corrosion and scaling. The polyurethane insulation layer tightly wraps around the tank's exterior, formed either through on-site foaming or pre-foaming installation. This material is created by reacting isocyanate with blend polyols to form a foam structure that effectively blocks heat transfer.

Performance and application:

1. High efficiency insulation: can keep the hot water in the water heater tank at a high temperature for a long time.

2. Good water resistance: Because the polyurethane material itself has a good hydrophobic performance, its closed cell structure can effectively prevent water from entering the insulation layer. This not only ensures the durability of insulation performance, but also prevents the damage of insulation layer and corrosion of inner tank caused by water intrusion.

3. Stable mechanical properties: Polyurethane insulation layer has a certain elasticity and toughness, can withstand a certain degree of external impact and vibration.
