Product Introduction:

LNG Polyurethane products are mainly used as insulation materials for liquefied natural gas storage tanks. It is polyurethane foam formed by the reaction and foaming of isocyanate and polyol. Outer protective layer (optional): In order to protect the insulation layer from external environmental damage, an outer protective layer is sometimes set outside the polyurethane insulation layer, such as glass fiber reinforced plastic ( FRP ) or metal shell, etc.

Performance and Uses:

1 • High-efficiency insulation: Compared with other insulation materials, it can significantly reduce heat transfer and effectively reduce LNG evaporation rate. For example, under the same storage conditions, the LNG storage tank using polyurethane insulation has a LNG evaporation rate reduction of 30% - 50% ，This is very important for LNG long-term storage and transportation.

2 • Good low-temperature performance: It can maintain good physical properties in LNG low-temperature environments. It will not crack or deform due to low temperatures, ensuring the continuity of the insulation effect.

3 • Appropriate mechanical properties: The polyurethane insulation layer has certain elasticity and toughness, and can withstand a certain degree of pressure and deformation. In LNG the manufacturing, transportation and use of the storage tank, if there are vibrations, slight collisions, etc., it can play a buffering and protective role, reducing the risk of tank damage.
