Product Introduction:
Silane-modified polymers are high-molecular-weight compounds based on polyether and siloxane-terminated polymers. They are characterized by the absence of free isocyanates and solvents, and excellent bonding properties.
Silane-modified polymers are commonly used in silane-modified sealants. The curing mechanism is moisture curing, and the catalyst system is usually an organotin catalyst. The recommended catalyst addition amount is 0.05%-0.6%.
In the silane-modified sealant formulation, silane-modified polymers are mixed with plasticizers, calcium carbonate, silane coupling agents, and auxiliaries to prepare products with tensile strength of 1.0-4.0 MPa and 100% modulus of 0.2-2.5 MPa. It can also be used to prepare transparent sealants. Silane-modified sealants are widely used in construction, home decoration, and industrial fields.
